Chroma is the UK’s leading and largest provider of HCPC-registered Neurologic Music Therapists (NMT), supporting hundreds of patients in neurorehabilitation hospitals and settings every year. We also work with patients following a Stroke, and those with neurodegenerative conditions like Huntington’s Disease and Parkinson’s. We also work with patients with PDoC diagnoses via the MATADOC assessment.
The MATADOC is a music-based validated, standardised assessment tool for people with disorders of consciousness. It involves a systematic protocol involving singing, music and musical instruments combined with a record of detailed observations. It has diagnostic potential and is used in many countries around the world to contribute to differential diagnosis in disorders of consciousness.

“If we didn’t have Chroma NMT service, it would be like not having neuropsychology or physiotherapy” – Head of Neurorehabilitation, London private hospital
“Neurologic music therapy is a great addition to our therapy provision, allowing for alternative rehabilitation practices to be considered for our clients. I am excited to be working with CHROMA and look forward to how their expertise may influence client outcomes and goals.” – Head of Clinical Services
