Daniel qualified as a music therapist in 2002. His work focuses on children and families, especially supporting attachment, bonding and resilience. Daniel has worked in prisons, mental health settings and in special and mainstream schools with children with a range of brain injuries and other conditions He certified in the APCI assessment in 2014, and as a Neurologic Music Therapist in 2017. He is also Managing Director of Chroma.
Finance Director
Andrew qualified as an accountant in 1995 following 5 years in the world of sports’ marketing. His financial experience has been gained in the commercial sector where he was FD for the UK’s largest independent floor-coverings buying group. He has also worked in schools and provided business development consultancy in the SME sector. His role is to look after the numbers, ensure these are communicated to his fellow Directors to inform decision making and to maintain sufficient resources to enable Chroma to reach both its financial and non-financial goals. He is also a school governor, amateur thespian and keen supporter of Gloucester Rugby.
Dramatherapist & Clinical Director & NMT Quaified, Chroma
Jo is a dramatherapist who has specialised in working with children and young people who have experienced early trauma. He qualified in 2006 and has worked in mainstream primary schools and a residential therapeutic community. He is the Clinical Director at Chroma, supporting and overseeing therapy. He completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2017.
Music Therapist, Referrals Manager & NMT Certified, Chroma
Kate is a music therapist, qualifying in 2003, and is Chroma’s referral manager. Kate has extensive experience in working with children who have significant behavioural difficulties caused by trauma and attachment related issues. Kate is a Neurologic Music Therapist, certifying in 2017 and has experience of working in neuro-rehab settings and with individual clients living with brain injury. Kate has also worked extensively within the field of dementia and in PMLD, learning difficulty and visual impairment. Kate is a passionate samba player, playing with samba bands in the South West and the Midlands.
Operations Manager, Chroma
Liz has a diverse background in administration having worked in the service industry and education prior to joining Chroma. Liz oversees the administration at Chroma, from HR to contracts. She is a mother of two. Liz is Chroma’s Operations Manager.
Music Therapist, NMT & APCI Certified & Senior Therapist - Referrals
Sally qualified as a Music Therapist in 1996 and worked for 10 years for the NHS in a busy outpatient Learning Disability team. After taking a break to have children, Sally then formed her own freelance business, working across different sectors and with a diverse range of people. Sally trained to offer APCI in 2016 and also NMT in 2017. She joined the Chroma Referrals Team in September 2021. Sally also enjoys teaching the piano and voice and performs professionally as an accompanist. She sings with the Nottingham Chamber Singers and plays violin in her local intergenerational community orchestra. Sally loves a nice pub, a long walk (with her family and dog) and finding time to read novels!
Head of People
Tom’s role is to look after the recruitment, onboarding and personnel management within Chroma. Tom has spent the majority of his career working within the sport and education industries, most recently managing the Recruitment and Staffing department of a national sports coaching and childcare company. Tom has also spent many years running youth support groups for children and young adults with a variety of physical, sensory and psychological disabilities.
Dramatherapist and Senior Therapist - Referrals
Seren qualified as a Dramatherapist in 2009. She worked in the NHS for ten years in adult mental health and adult learning disability services and has also worked as a Dramatherapist in nurseries and schools. She has experience of working alongside a multi disciplinary team offering psychotherapeutic and systemic thinking within teams which use various behavioural and psychological models . She also works as a lecturer on the Art Psychotherapy course at the University of South Wales. She qualified as a Clinical Supervisor in 2020 and offers supervision to nurses as well as arts therapists. As a member of The Golden Thread Playback Theatre Company, Seren performs nationally. She is particularly interested in therapeutic writing and facilitates workshops for a range of participants, utilising story, poetry, song lyrics and verse. Having practiced yoga for over 15 years she integrates yoga and mindfulness into her clinical and supervisory practice. Seren joined Chroma in 2019 as a Senior Therapist and works alongside Bronwyn, Kate and Sally on the Referrals Team.

Bronwyn has a diverse and experienced clinical background as a music therapist. She trained in South Africa before moving to the UK to develop her clinical expertise. Bronwyn works alongside Kate and Seren in our referrals team. She talks with case managers, solicitors, schools and hospitals supporting them to access arts therapies for their patients and clients. Bronwyn also completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2017.

Mandy qualified as a music therapist in 2008. She has a wide range of experience of working with children and adults with ABI and TBI, learning disabilities, autism and emotional and behavioural disorders. Mandy certified as a Neurologic Music Therapist in 2017.

Gillian qualified as a Music Therapist in 2009. She has specialised in work with children and families with roles in an NHS CAMHS service in Scotland, and an NHS Child Development Service and Specialist Children’s Services in London, working in clinics, children’s centres and schools. Alongside clinical work, Gillian has held music therapy lecturing roles at Edinburgh Napier University, the University of the West of England and the University of South Wales. She is undertaking doctoral research exploring children’s experiences of music therapy in mainstream primary schools.
Art Psychotherapist & Senior Therapist - Clinical
Emma qualified as a person-centred Art Psychotherapist 2018. Emma has worked in mainstream and specialist school settings. Using her experience as a creative lead in education and her experience as an artist in residence to inform her practice. Emma has worked with children whose behavioural needs span all aspects of the neurodiverse spectrum including Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, and ADD. She has worked with children and young people who experience emotional regulation issues and attachment disorders. Many of the clients Emma has worked with have faced communication challenges, domestic violence, drug addiction, sexual abuse and exploitation. Emma is a practicing Artist and joined Chroma in 2024 as a Senior therapist working together with the clinical team.

Lucy qualified as a Music Therapist in 2012 and has worked extensively with children, young people and families in the NHS; special, mainstream and therapeutic residential schools; a child and family centre; and as a Specialist CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner in a secure children’s home. Lucy is experienced in managing therapy partnership services with local authorities and educational trusts, and supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs in education settings. Lucy specialises in working with vulnerable children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma and has undertaken further training in both Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Neurologic Music Therapy.

Wendy qualified as a Music Therapist in 2016, with additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy in 2017. She has worked in a wide range of settings, including neonatal units, schools, perinatal mental health groups, children’s hospices and adult psychiatric units. She has extensive experience of delivering music therapy to children and adults with acquired brain injury.
Wendy joined the referrals team in 2024, having worked for Chroma since 2017. As a former full-time professional violinist, Wendy still occasionally performs with orchestras and chamber music groups in the North West. She enjoys salsa dancing, hill walking and cats!

Jenny worked for over 20 years in a major high street bank. Alongside this, for 11 years, did fostering through the local council, from respite care to short term and also helped move children on to an adoptive placement. Jenny is a mother to 3 children and works part time at Chroma in the finance team with Andrew.

Elicia has worked in a variety of administration roles before joining Chroma working in the administration team part time. When not at work she enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. Her horses and other animals take up a lot of her time but she also enjoys walking, archery or reading a good book.

Adele qualified as a music therapist in 2021 and has since been working with children and young people, and older adults. She is experienced in supporting the social, emotional, and mental health; and communication and interaction needs of children and young people who have experienced complex trauma, children with an autism diagnosis and/or learning disabilities, and adults with dementia. She works in a person-centred way to form therapeutic relationships, and to work towards positive outcomes. Adele has experience working in a range of settings, including NHS, Special Schools, and Care Homes.

Before becoming a music therapist, I performed and taught music as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist and worked and volunteered as a community musician. Amanda has an extensive career as a songwriter, performer, community musician and special needs tutor, using song to facilitate wellbeing and cognitive functioning for over 15 years. With a Psychology degree from UCL and an MA in Music Therapy from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she is also a certified Neurologic Music Therapist. Since qualifying, she has been working with both children and adults in the fields of Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health, adoption/fostering, PTSD and post-natal depression, in a variety of settings including the NHS, child and family centres, and privately.

Amber is a HCPC register Art Psychotherapist. Amber’s experience has involved working with disadvantaged children and families, including SEN, fostered, and adopted children, delivering art therapy in schools and in community settings. Prior to training as a therapist, Amber worked for 10 years for Essex County Council within the Children with Disabilities Team providing various interventions. She has a specialist interest in early attachment trauma and enjoys using a client centred approach where different theories are drawn upon to best support the individual need. Play and creative expression is welcomed through art materials, toys, sand tray and games.

Andrew Moore qualified as a music therapist in 2024 from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has worked in a variety of settings including special and mainstream schools, NHS forensic adult mental health and dementia care. Andrew has a particular interest in the power of music to link memories and is keen to research treatment pathways around memory consolidation and access within music therapy. Outside of music therapy Andrew enjoys songwriting, conducting and playing squash.

After graduating in classical guitar, Anna qualified in Music therapy at the Conservatoire of music ‘Alfredo Casella’ in Italy in 2016. Her final dissertation focused on amusia, a neurological disorder that can impact on the correct processing of music and, therefore, on the process of music therapy. Anna moved to Birmingham in 2016 and started working as a freelancer in 2017. She has worked with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, children with severe and profound learning disabilities and children in foster care with emotional and behavioural disorders.

Anthony qualified as a music therapist from Roehampton in 2013 and specializes in working with children and families. Since graduating he has successfully set up the provision of music therapy in two South London SEN schools and has worked as part of the Oxleas NHS Specialist Children's Services, working in a range schools and a community clinic alongside a multidisciplinary team. In addition to working with children and families Anthony has experience working in adult mental health, both in inpatient and community settings. During this time Anthony has worked as a supervisor to other therapists, engaged in quality improvement research, mentored students has gained management experience through over five years working as a clinical lead.

Bea is a psychodynamic music therapist based in Southampton, having completed her MA in Music Therapy at the University of the West of England in 2023. She has experience working across NHS, educational, and community settings with children, young people, and adults, particularly those with complex mental health needs, developmental trauma, and attachment difficulties. Bea draws on trauma-informed approaches including DDP, NVR, and Group Analytic Music Therapy. She is passionate about creating inclusive, person-centred spaces where individuals can connect, explore emotions, and grow through music. In her spare time, Bea enjoys tabletop games, walking her dog, and going to concerts.

Carine completed her degree in Music Technology in 2000 with a love for the theatre and live sound. She wrote her final dissertation on Music Therapy and had a lightbulb moment. She then trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and qualified as a music Therapist in 2007. She moved to Cornwall to take up a post and has worked in a range of settings ever since. She has experience in working with children and young people with complex needs, trauma and Autism, Older adults with Dementia and adult mental health. She completed her Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2022.

Carl qualified in 2008 as an Art Therapist. His work has focused on children and families, and his research studies into the benefits of Art Therapy with Post Natal Depressed mothers and their infants have been published and are presently the subject of a pilot study with Cardiff University. Carl has worked in children’s centres, special and mainstream schools, psychiatric hospitals and prisons. As well as being active member of the British Association of Art Therapists Carl is also an exhibiting artist.

Carla qualified as a Music Therapist from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2025. She has a strong background working with children, young people, and adults supporting individuals from all backgrounds including with a range of learning disabilities and difficulties, as well as various mental health diagnoses including psychosis. As a violist and singer with an appreciation of many genres, she has a strong background in continually developing her musicality and a keen interest in the importance of intercultural matters within music therapy.

She previously worked in adult mental health, specialising in drug and alcohol dependence, and has also worked extensively within the perinatal field. Caz has over 15 years of experience as a dramatherapist. In this time she has worked with many children, adolescents and families including those who have suffered significant trauma. She has supported young people through difficult transitions in the care system and is currently a therapist in a fostering agency. She also has experience of working with clients with complex mental health needs and mild to profound learning disability in day and residential settings. Caz has additional training in Environmental Arts Therapy, a therapy that works with natural materials, themes and cycles.

She has worked with Chroma since 2016 and continues to work within the adoption field with children, young people and their families. Christella has a particular interest in attachment, pre developmental trauma and working with the systems around the child and young person. In addition to her clinical experience, she has been a lecturer and clinical supervisor on the MA Art Psychotherapy course at Goldsmiths and now at the University of Hertfordshire.

Daryl is an HCPC-registered music therapist with extensive experience working with children, young people, families, adults, and older adults. He has worked across a variety of settings, including mainstream and SEN schools, hospitals, colleges, and community-based services, supporting clients with diverse needs. He takes a person-centred approach to therapy, drawing on interventions such as DBT, other creative arts therapies, and music technology. Alongside his work with Chroma, Daryl also works in forensic settings, supporting adult men in prison to reduce risk, process trauma, and build emotional regulation skills

After a career in arts, theatre and education, Deborah retrained as a dramatherapist. She then worked at a hospice for nine years as their arts psychotherapist, supporting patients, their families, children and carers, and now is freelance, working with a wide range of ages and issues.

Ella qualified as an Art Therapist in 2017. She has worked as an art therapist on psychiatric wards, supported housing and in a creative community. She is particularly interested in making art therapy as accessible as possible both geographically and experientially. In her personal art practice she enjoys experimenting with found objects and darkroom photography to show different states of mind.

As a creative musician, she brings years of musical experience as a composer, violinist and choir facilitator to her therapeutic practice. Emily used to teach composition to teenagers and young people at both Guildhall School of Music and Trinity Laben and is passionate about helping people find their unique musical voice. Esme's experience includes supporting autistic children within a specialist NHS service, working with children and adults with complex needs, and providing music therapy in both children’s and adult hospices. She is passionate about using music to connect and empower people, helping them express themselves and find support at every stage of life.

Estelle completed a degree in Arts therapies at the University of Derby, and then became fully qualified as an Art psychotherapist at the University of Sheffield in 2002. Estelle has over 30 years experience working with children, young people and young adults in pru and mainstream education, residential care, CAMHS. Her clinical work has mainly been with clients with complex needs on the autistic spectrum or autism diagnosis , that have been through trauma or difficult life events. Estelle is experienced in MDT working, assessment and coordination. Her approach is child- led, that can incorporate art process, play, cbt intervention that is tailored to the individual.

Fleur qualified as a music therapist in 2015 and has since worked across a variety of settings including schools, community organisations and pediatrics. She has also worked extensively with immigrant and refugee populations and children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Fleur also has experience working with adolescents diagnosed with anxiety or mood disorders and veterans with post-traumatic stress. Her work is rooted in a person-centered framework and strength-based approach. She utilises a variety of active and receptive music-based techniques to support social, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Frankie qualified as an art therapist from the University of Derby in 2023. They previously worked as a trainee art therapist in a neurorehabilitation setting with adults recovering from the effects of a traumatic brain injury or neurological illness. Frankie also worked with children in schools who struggled with emotional expression and regulation and behaviour. Frankie’s work draws upon self-directed creativity to express an authentic self within the safety of the therapy space.

Federico (Fred) trained as a music therapist at the University of the West of England, Bristol. He has been working as a music therapist with children in school settings (adoption, trauma, autism, learning difficulties), and with adults (learning difficulties, dementia, mental health). Fred also studied classical double bass at the Conservatory of Music Santa Cecilia, Rome, Italy, and has been enjoying a performing career in jazz and classical music, teaching his instrument and singing in a choir. At the moment, in addition to his role as a music therapist at Chroma, Fred works as a music therapist at a special needs school in Surrey. In his spare time, Fred enjoys nature, sea fishing, and reading.

Genevieve graduated from the University of Derby as a Music Therapist in August 2022. She has experience working with looked after children and young people, as well as children and young people with additional needs. She also has experience working with older adults living with dementia and Parkinsons. She is passionate about using music and the arts to express yourself in a safe and creative way and believes that these are powerful tools that do not need verbal communication.

Gillian qualified as an art psychotherapist in 2011. She has worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including working in schools, with looked after and adopted children and adolescents doing both long and short term work. Gillian’s work has also involved therapeutic support for the families of those involved in therapy. A great deal of her work has included working with the long-term effects of early trauma and the impact this can have not only on the children and adolescents but also on those they live with.
Gillian has worked with children, adolescents and Learning Disabled adults for over 15 years in a range of capacities. She started her career as an Art Teacher working in mainstream and SEN Secondary Schools in Scotland before becoming a Further Education Lecturer in London. Gillian trained as an Art Psychotherapist at Goldsmiths, University of London, qualifying in 2018. Gillian now works as an Art Psychotherapist for Chroma, CAMHS and in private practice. Gillian has worked in paediatrics, refuges and in community and inpatient Mental Health settings. Gillian works flexibly to meet individual needs and is interested in intersectional approaches to Art Therapy.

Giulio qualified as an art psychotherapist from Roehampton University in 2022. He has worked as an art therapist of children and young people in primary schools, secondary schools, and therapeutic centres. He has also worked for the virtual school as an art therapist of looked after children. During his training he worked in a multidisciplinary therapeutic team as an art therapist in an outpatient NHS centre where he offered art therapy to adult outpatients suffering from schizophrenia and psychosis. More recently he has been working as an art therapist for adult patients in a neuro rehabilitation setting.

Goksin qualified as a dramatherapist at the University of Roehampton in 2017 after having trained and worked as an actor in Istanbul, Turkey for 10 years. After graduating, she worked with unaccompanied refugee and asylum-seeking children and young adults for the British Refugee Council and the Barnet Refugee Service among others, working in this capacity for 4 years. She has extensive experience working with clients who suffer from severe distress, early developmental trauma, PTSD, insomnia, depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation in both one to one and group settings. Her approach is client-led, trauma-informed, body-focused and empathic.

Guy has worked with children and young people for over 25 years. He came from a theatre background, becoming a primary school teacher, and then had a role improving communication skills within a special school through the medium of drama. He trained as a Dramatherapist in 2006, and has been working as an Arts Therapist, mostly in schools ever since. He was part of a multi agency organisation supporting children and families in Plymouth from 2010-2025. Dramatherapy sessions with Guy feature boundaried creativity, personal exploration and development, and encouragement to develop expressive and empowered identity.

Prior this worked as a social worker in various children & families settings such as fostering & adoption, CAMHS and in safeguarding in youth justice. As an Art Psychotherapist she has worked with social care with Looked After Children providing therapy as well as therapeutic training for foster carers and also young adults with severe learning & physical disabilities.

Heather qualified as an Art Therapist in 2018 and spent several years devoted to working as a Counsellor in the specialism of sexual abuse and early trauma. During this time, she often offered creative counselling sessions to fostered or adopted children and young people. More recently, she has returned to working as part of an NHS Learning Disability team where she has enjoyed the opportunity to work collaboratively to set up a new Art Psychotherapy Service. Heather loves working in a person-centred and trauma informed way which honours the spark of creativity that she believes exists in each and every person.

Hollie is an Art Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist. She has 13 years clinical experience working with young people, adults and families in both special educational settings and specialist adoption support and trauma services. Hollie is highly skilled in trauma informed art psychotherapy techniques, integrative and person-centred approaches and EMDR interventions. Her approach encourages resilience and healing in children and young people with complex trauma and attachment challenges, as well as SEMH difficulties (social, emotional and mental health difficulties), Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD and additional needs. Her trauma informed practise and integrative approach aims to create safe, nurturing and inclusive environments for the clients she cares for.
Music Therapist, NMT Fellow & MATADOC certified
Holly studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and qualified as a music therapist in 2002. After qualifying, Holly worked for five years with adults with acquired brain injury, in particular neuro-behavioural disorders, and adults with Huntington’s disease in a leading neuro-rehabilitation hospital. For the past 11 years Holly has worked with children with acquired brain injury, children with PMLD and complex health needs, and children with special needs including autism. Holly has co-authored two published articles on the subject of neuro-behavioural disorders within paediatric and adult acquired brain injury. She is an NMT fellow and is MATADOC certified.
Music Therapist
Isobel qualified in 2004 from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has worked in a variety of settings including NHS, charities and schools. Her main client group is children and young people although she has also worked in elderly mental health. Her main area of work includes LD & PMLD, ASD, fostering and adoption, behavioural and emotional issues and children who have suffered abuse. Isobel has a keen interest in early brain development and attachment theory. She joined Chroma in 2016.

James Tucker qualified as a music therapist in 2013 from UWE. He has worked in a variety of settings including special and mainstream schools, care homes for adults with learning difficulties, care homes for older adults with dementia and an NHS neurological rehabilitation unit. He has a special interest in using music therapy as a non-pharmacological approach to reduce symptoms of agitation and anxiety in older adults with dementia.

In 2014 Jane completed a doctorate in music at the University of York. She qualified as a Music Therapist in 2019 and has now worked with a wide range of client populations and settings including family groups and adopted children; people living with dementia; children and adults with special needs; autistic children and adults; children with social, behavioural and mental health difficulties; mental health groups for adults; families and women who are victims of abuse. She mainly adopts a psycho-dynamically informed person-centred model and seeks to use interventions which best suit the client, including a range of both receptive and active music-making approaches.

After teaching for many years, Jayne trained to be a Music Therapist at Queen Margaret University qualifying in 2017. She has extensive experience working with adolescents in SEN and mainstream schools in both a teaching and pastoral role. As a therapist she has worked with young people who have suffered sexual abuse, domestic abuse and who are experiencing mental health issues. Also, with adults with Autism and Rett syndrome.

Jayro is a musician and music therapist from East London. Jayro qualified as a music therapist in 2024 with experiences in working with young people from challenging backgrounds, neurodiversity, learning disability and children in palliative care. With a strong background in various musical genres, Jayro connects effectively with individuals of all ages, including those facing unique challenges. In addition to her therapeutic work, Jayro also works as a viola player and vocalist bringing her vibrant energy to various musical events and projects, enriching her practice with her diverse musical and social experiences.

Jennie qualified with an MA in Drama and Movement Therapy from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in 2021. Jennie has worked in specialist provision schools developing grounded therapeutic relationships with children and young people with diverse learning needs, as well as those in the care system. Jennie has a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced relational and developmental trauma - how dramatherapy as an embodied approach can work together with the therapeutic relationship to explore needs and facilitate growth. Jennie lives by the North Sea, where she embraces swimming as an antidote to the hard work of restoring a mediaeval vicarage and gardens.

Jess qualified as an Art Psychotherapist in 2007. She has worked with children, young people and their families on many issues and has spent several years working with students attending SEMH provision and PRU’s. Her experience covers learning disability, school exclusion, trauma, divorce and separation, domestic abuse, complex diagnosis, sensory processing difficulties and ASC, supporting young people in the care system, and emotional regulation difficulties leading to extremes of behaviour. She is passionate about the value of creativity as a resource for resilience and recovery.

Since qualifying, Jess has worked as a freelance music therapist with a variety of different client groups in a range of settings including special schools, residential care homes and other various community settings. Joanna takes a person-first approach to her work and ensures that therapy sessions are a space where the client feels heard and valued. Joanna works collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure that the client experiences a consistent and excellent level of care.

Jo qualified as a Dramatherapist in 2008 and more recently as a Counsellor. She has a background in CAMHS, schools, child and family charities and private practice. Jo has training in DDP and experience in supporting young people with a range of needs including Developmental and recent trauma, mental health and emotional wellbeing as well as young people and carers post adoption and fostered. She has a significant interest in neurodivergence conditions. Jo takes her cue from the child, their interests and what they bring, using a spectrum of creative arts including sensory play, stories, role, sand tray and art to enable exploration and understanding.

John Harley graduated from Roehampton University with an MA in Dramatherapy in 2011. He is a dramatherapist, teacher and youth worker. He has worked extensively with children both individually and in groups and has many years experience of working with adults therapeutically and in harnessing creativity and the imagination. He has a special interest in leading retreats. He lives in Dorset.
Jon qualified as a music therapist in 2012. After qualifying he has since worked in a variety of client groups including palliative care, autism, SEN and mainstream education settings, and adoption. Over the last 7-8yrs Jon has specialised in neurorehabilitation, working alongside clients of a variety of ages (both adults and children) in hospital, rehabilitation settings, and at home. He is an NMT fellow and is MATADOC certified.

From a young age Julian lost himself in the process of making art. Happily scribbling ideas. Now with over 20 years experience as a nationally exhibited fine artist, illustrator, and art tutor, he qualified as an art therapist in 2013. Since providing group and 1:1 sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Bespoke sessions are planned, designed, and delivered that incorporate a multidisciplinary team within community settings, rehabilitation units, registered counselling services and schools.

She has worked with children and adults who have neurological disabilities, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, medical needs, mental health issues including dementia, and challenging behaviour. Her experience includes working in America in addition to the UK.

Karen is a performer and educator, using her love of singing to encourage young musicians in their musical journeys. With a MPerf in Voice from Royal College of Music and an MA in Music Therapy from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she is also a qualified Music Therapist. Kate qualified as a Music Therapist in 2017 and has experience of working both as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously within alternative provisions, mainstream and SEN schools, residential settings, as well as in the private and public health sector. She has worked extensively with children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, often with complex and additional needs. In 2020 she was appointed Head of Therapy for a Multi Academy Trust alternative provision, working with students, staff and families across the Trust.

Kate became an Art Therapist in 2010. She first became fascinated about the healing power of art during her Fine Art degree. Her work concentrates upon her clients, their relationships and their place in the world. She focuses on attachment, behavioural difficulties and traumatic stress, with adults and children.

Following her teaching career in Primary education, Katherine qualified as a Music Therapist in 2008. The majority of her experience as a music therapist has been in psychiatric settings, special schools and care homes, working with people diagnosed with acute mental health conditions, children with ASC and older adults with dementia. From 2018 to 2022, Katherine worked in New Delhi as a course tutor and music therapist working for various NGOs. In her role as course director for Ashwaas Music Therapy and Wellness Advisory Services, she delivered music therapy training programs to students in India.

Katy trained for her Masters in Dramatherapy at Roehampton University, qualifying in 2010. Katy brings drama, play, music, art, body work and mindfulness into her work. She has completed level one in Theraplay®, level 2 Sherbourne/Laban Movement, is a creative Clinical Supervisor and is currently undertaking Hakomi training and experience. Trained to level 3 in British Sign Language and Romanian speaking sessions could be in Romanian or signed. Her specific interests are working alongside people with disordered eating patterns, attachment and family group work and working with people with disabilities and injuries.

Kelly worked in education for 15 years before qualifying as a Music Therapist from the University of South Wales in 2017. She has experience of working in mainstream, therapeutic residential, and special education. Kelly’s therapeutic work has primarily focused on working with children and young people who have experienced early childhood trauma. She also has experience of working with children and adolescents with behavioural, emotional & social difficulties; PMLD; and learning disabilities. Kelly’s therapeutic work utilises Orff instruments and music technology.

Laura trained in Music Therapy at UWE Bristol, qualifying in 2019, and is a certified Neurologic Music Therapist. She has experience supporting people with neurological conditions including stroke, aphasia, dementia and Parkinson’s and uses an integrated approach to music therapy to support people’s functional and psychological needs through person-centred therapy. Laura has also worked with adoptive families, using music therapy to support attachment and regulation for children who have experienced developmental trauma.

Lesley qualified as an art therapist in 2016 having previously taught art and PSHE in secondary schools. Experienced in acute adolescent inpatient mental health services and community CAMHS, working through an attachment and trauma lens within the looked after children and adoption space. Lesley uses a range of creative interventions alongside images and art materials, including play, interactive art games, narrative therapy and mindfulness. She has additional training in mentalisation, DDP. CBT and sensory work. With a love for hiking and the outdoors and a keen artist herself, Lesley works with people to explore their worlds inside and out.

Lucy qualified as a Dramatherapist in 2000 and has worked in child and adolescent services, and across health, education and social care for over 25years. She has a specialist interest in trauma and has trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. Lucy brings a wealth of creative skills in theatre, art, writing and music to her work as a therapist. Lucy co-directed a theatre company for 10 years, and is currently performing in ensembles as a singer and folk musician.

Alongside her music therapy practice, Meg is training in Transactional Analysis psychotherapy.

After spending five years in the prison service as a prison officer and therapy group facilitator, Michaela decided to pursue her passion for art therapy. By 2022, she had become a qualified Art Therapist. She has since dedicated herself to providing art therapy services in primary education settings. Michaela has developed remarkable skills in assisting children, young people, and adults to navigate various social, behavioural, and emotional challenges through artmaking and creativity. Alongside her current role, she has acquired valuable experience by working within the NHS, CAMHS, and community mental health services before obtaining her qualification.

Millie qualified as a Music Therapist in 2018. She has a background in Integrative Psychotherapy and draws from a variety of trauma-informed models such as MBT and EMDR. She has worked in a diverse range of settings, including the NHS on adult inpatient psychosis wards. She works in educational environments within a multidisciplinary team providing assessments and interventions for children that have complex learning difficulties and/or have experienced significant trauma, working systemically with both adoptive and SGO families. Her community-based work is with individuals and groups that have dementia, brain injuries and chronic pain to help reduce social isolation and improve quality of life.

Nathan is also a certified Neurologic Music Therapist. Nathan adopts a person-centred approach in his practice, ensuring a safe therapeutic space for exploration. He is passionate about the numerous ways that music can be used to meet the needs of various service users.

Paolo is a qualified Music Therapist from Italy with an international background, having worked in Spain and in the USA prior to moving to the UK. He has worked extensively in the hospital setting, in Palliative Care, Critical Care and Neurorehabilitation. He is an NMT fellow and he has received training in Medical Music Psychotherapy in New York City. Paolo is passionate about combining all of his diverse training and international music experience as a guitar player in his work as a therapist.
Patrick is from South East London and is now based in Norfolk. He thoroughly enjoys going to the coast with my family to swim and kayak in, playing football and most of all making music. Patrick has a passion for recording music, playing the harp and regularly unwinds playing electronic drums at home.

Her current clinical work is based in children and young people with learning disabilities and Autism. Rachel Certified as a Neurological Music Therapist in 2019.
Rachel qualified as a Music Therapist in 2013. Shortly after qualifying Rachel spent a year practicing music therapy in the US, working in a large day service for adults with moderate learning disabilities and PMLD. Since returning to the UK Rachel has further developed her practice with a wide range of clients and settings. She has a wealth of experience using community-based interventions, including establishing a choir for people living with aphasia. Rachel completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2019.

Rachel is an Art Psychotherapist based in South Devon, working with children, young people and families. Using a person-centred approach, Rachel offers support with trauma, attachment difficulties and developmental trauma. Rachel qualified as an art therapist in 2022 at the University of South Wales, having previously worked as a teacher in both mainstream and special education. She currently works with children and young people with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities and also supports both children and adults who have experienced being in care. Rachel has worked in a range of areas including cancer support and also supported key workers during the Covid 19 pandemic.

She has experience working with children and young people in specialist schools, mental health services, and within the care system. With additional training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, she has a particular interest in supporting young people who have experienced developmental trauma, advocating for a collaborative approach to their care. In addition to her therapeutic work, Ros is skilled in facilitating reflective supervision groups for staff teams working in this field, helping to foster resilience and best practice in supporting vulnerable young people.

Sarah qualified as a dramatherapist in 2008. She has co-ordinated a dramatherapy-in-schools service and delivered group and individual therapy in schools. She has worked in the NHS as a CAMHS practitioner for children Looked After and adopted and as a TaMHS (Targeted Mental Health in Schools) practitioner. Sarah has worked in PRU’s and for charities delivering group therapy to children that have experienced domestic violence. Sarah worked in an NHS adult inpatient unit, delivering group and individual therapy to clients experiencing psychosis and clients diagnosed with schizophrenia. She has also delivered a group dramatherapy programme for adults diagnosed with brain tumours.

Scarlett's practice involves working with children looked after in school and residential settings, focusing on trauma, attachment models, to provide each individual the space to see their potential.

Soirse has extensive experience across school, community and hospital settings. She has a private practice in London and works for a large charity with refugee and asylum-seeking children and adults. Soirse uses a person-centred, creative and analytical therapeutic approach to work with children and young people towards lasting change - often utilising an indirect approach, play and imagination to explore what might be happening in a way that is accessible for them.
Sophie qualified as a music therapist in 2007, after which she worked in adult and older people’s mental health services for 12 years, delivering group and individual therapy in in-patient and community settings. Sophie now specialises in working with children and young adults and their families, both as a music therapist and as a CYP counsellor. She has a particular interest in trauma and attachment.

As an Art Therapist, Sue works with children, young people, adults, and the elderly with a wide range of difficulties, disabilities or diagnoses. These include emotional, behavioural, not wanting to go to school, or mental health problems, learning or physical disabilities, life-limiting conditions, neurological conditions and physical illnesses.

She is a clarinettist, pianist, singer and BAMT registered supervisor.

Since then, he has performed and taught music in a variety of settings in Australia, Thailand, Ireland, and now the United Kingdom. Tim qualified as a Music Therapist at the Irish World Academy in 2021 where person-centred, multidisciplinary working was held in high regard. He strongly believes in active listening to aid communication in family work and thrives from learning how best to support the health attachment through the use of music.

Ting-An is a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist, having completed her MA in Art Therapy at the University of Chester in 2024. She is originally from Taiwan and currently based in Chester, working in the north west England region and remotely. She works with children, young people and adults and has experience working within education and community settings. She brings a trauma-informed approach to her work, and finds creative ways to engage and support client’s expression, including objects, story telling, nature-based materials, digital media etc. Alongside Chroma, she works for a charity specialised in supporting male sexual harm survivors.

He has worked with a range of client populations including adults with mental health difficulties, SEN children and the elderly. Tony has worked in adult neuro-disability and psychiatric treatment since 2016, first as a community musician and then a qualified Music Therapist. He adopts psycho-dynamic and person-centred approaches with interventions such as improvisation, song sharing, singing and song writing, also employing NMT techniques to functionally support neurological conditions.

Vicky graduated in 2019 from the University of South Wales. She has experience working in schools and colleges, hospital settings and care homes. She has worked alongside young children in mainstream education, children with autistic spectrum condition and people living with neurological conditions, including dementia and brain injury. Vicky also runs an aphasia friendly choir on an inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Ward. She became NMT qualified in 2020.
