Music Therapist, APCI & NMT Certified & Joint Managing Director, Chroma
Daniel qualified as a music therapist in 2002. His work focuses on children and families, especially supporting attachment, bonding and resilience. Daniel has worked in prisons, mental health settings and in special and mainstream schools with children with a range of brain injuries and other conditions He certified in the APCI assessment in 2014, and as a Neurologic Music Therapist in 2017. He is also the Joint Managing Director of Chroma.
Dramatherapist & Joint Managing Director, Chroma
Wendy is a qualified dramatherapist (2015) and has recent experience working with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties as well as advanced dementia in the elderly. Wendy has a commercial background working in financial services in sales and key account business development. Wendy is also the Joint Managing Director of Chroma.
Andrew qualified as an accountant in 1995 following 5 years in the word of sports’ marketing. His financial experience has been gained in the commercial sector where was FD for the UK’s largest independent floor-coverings buying group. He has also worked in schools and provided business development consultancy in the SME sector.
His role is to look after the numbers, ensure these are communicated to his fellow Directors to inform decision making and to maintain sufficient resources to enable Chroma to reach both its financial and non-financial goals. He is also a school governor, amateur thespian and keen supporter of Gloucester Rugby.
Dramatherapist & Clinical Director & NMT Quaified, Chroma
Jo is a dramatherapist who has specialised in working with children and young people who have experienced early trauma. He qualified in 2006 and has worked in mainstream primary schools and a residential therapeutic community. He is the Clinical Director at Chroma, supporting and overseeing therapy. He completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2017.
Music Therapist, Referrals Manager & NMT Certified, Chroma
Kate qualified as a music therapist in 2003. Her work has focused on children with significant behavioural difficulties caused by trauma and attachment related issues. Kate has also worked extensively within the field of dementia and in special schools with PMLD, learning difficulty and visual impairment. Kate is also a Neurologic Music Therapist, certifying in 2017. Kate is Chroma’s Referrals Manager.
Operations Manager, Chroma
Liz has a diverse background in administration having worked in the service industry and education prior to joining Chroma. Liz oversees the administration at Chroma, from HR to contracts. She is a mother of two teenagers. Liz is Chroma’s Operations Manager.
Music Therapist, APCI & NMT Certified, Senior Therapist - Clinical, Chroma
Rachel is a senior music therapist specialising in psychodynamic thinking around attachment, trauma and wellbeing through the arts. Rachel’s work encompasses clinical work with children and families, neurological music therapy with adults as well as presenting and writing about music therapy. Rachel plays violin and piano, performing regularly. Rachel is also a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Chroma.
Music Therapist, NMT Certified & Senior Therapist - Referrals, Chroma
Bronwyn has a diverse and experienced clinical background as a music therapist. She trained in South Africa before moving to the UK to develop her clinical expertise. Bronwyn works alongside Kate in our commissioning team. She talks with case managers, solicitors, schools and hospitals supporting them to access arts therapies for their patients and clients. Bronwyn also completed the Neurologic Music Therapy training in 2017.
Jenny worked for over 20 years in a major high street bank. Alongside this, for 11 years, did fostering through the local council, from respite care to short term and also helped move children on to an adoptive placement. Jenny is a mother to 3 children and works part time at Chroma in an administrative role.
